Isn't it time for change?

As I write this morning the rain is pouring down. I just opened the back door to breathe it in, the smell, the sound and the colours. The sound is wonderfully reassuring, consistent heavy plops of rain. I find my self wondering if its too early in the morning to light a fire...? I love this time of year and I adore being all cosy inside when its pouring outside, the perfect combination to me. It feels peaceful, safe and familiar. I was definitely born in the right country, you've got to be a fan of rain if you live on a little island on the edge of the Atlantic!

Thinking about it now I realise that so much of this past year has been about embracing the unfamiliar and pushing myself outside my comfort zone. But this has all been in the spirit of growth and the journey has been incredible so far.  As I've shared with you before I chose the word 'grow' to inform my year and my how that's infused absolutely everything; physically, spiritually and emotionally! But what I've come to understand is that my growth has been all about helping you to grow. I have been working on Artful Eating for a little over a year now, researching, testing, developing, creating, and helping wonderful people all over the world to overcome a lifetime of negative thinking and behaviour when it comes to food and their body.

It has been a truly magical experience and my favourite part is hearing and seeing my clients shift from self hate to self love. That is definitely the best bit! 

As I've just brought our darling daughter into the world, and am working on the final edits of the Artful Eating book, which will come out later this year (and I just can't wait to share it with you!), I have decided not to do a live run of the Artful Eating course for now. I will open it up again sometime this year, as so many of you have been asking me to open up the doors again! For the moment my decision is to focus my energy working individually. I absolutely love this type of work, as its returning to my roots as a psychologist and psychoanalyst. Where we work intensely together, and I get to share the journey, help you grow and uncover the beautiful body you desire and deserve.

I would love for you to join me on this incredible journey. I know the timing may not feel right, or the commitment. But I encourage you to check in with yourself and listen to your gut- it won't put you wrong! If you are ready to finally stop dieting, bingeing, looking in the mirror and not liking what you see, cutting out foods you love, not fitting into clothes you'd like and not waking up feeling fantastic, then I encourage you to work with me. 

It will change you.

You will grow.

You will lose the weight.

You will learn to think differently.

You will look at yourself differently.

You will come to love yourself again. (That's the best bit)

I know this, because Artful Eating has changed so many wonderful people I've had the privilege of working with.

So if you're ready for change, not just a change in your size, but deep change, in how you think, feel and experience your life then be kind to yourself and take action.

If this feels completely right- go for it! You have nothing to lose but the weight you have been carrying around unnecessarily for far too long!!

I want you to think about what really matters in your life. We spend so much time looking outward,  to what we need to do for others, what we think we should be doing and what we're not doing.

All of us have limited time here and the real question is: Who are you? And, What do you want to do with your life?
